Cancer has great impact on patients and their families. The disruptions and emotional roller coaster of fears, anxieties and worries could be difficult to cope with. As a member of the healthcare team, the Medical Social Worker seeks to support you and your family in your cancer-fighting journey.
Medical Social Work services include:-

  • Supportive Counselling to help cope with the challenges of having cancer.
  • Family mediation and counseling for relationship issues.
  • Information and referrals to community resources, e.g. Elderly care / disability services, hospice care, family service centers, support groups.
  • Grief counselling
  • Financial information (for Singaporeans & Permanent Residents only)

Please inform doctor / nurse / PSC staff if you or your loved ones would like to be attended to by a Medical Social Worker.

Working Hours: Mon – Fri: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
(Closed on weekends & public holidays)
