About Johns Hopkins
Johns Hopkins International (JHI) is the organization within Johns Hopkins Medicine charged with advancing the Johns Hopkins mission of teaching, research and patient care internationally. In addition to coordinating care for international patients, JHI provides services in healthcare consulting, clinical service development, laboratory management, and education programs for the international medical community.
Each year, thousands of international patients from more than 90 countries travel to Baltimore to be treated by Johns Hopkins physicians. Johns Hopkins International coordinates the care of this diverse group of patients, who consult specialists throughout the Johns Hopkins Health System and affiliated facilities. Our professional interpreters and patient coordinators work hard to ensure clear and smooth communication between providers and the non-English-speaking patient.
