Australian Hepatologists Participate in Forum

| The group of Australian hepatologists who participated in the Forum included: Paul Desmond, Simone Strasser, Martin Weltman, William Sievert, Jacob George, Joe Sasadeusz, George Marinos, Darrell Crawford, Linsay Mollison and Graeme Macdonald. |

A distinguished group of hepatologists from Australia participated in the
Hepatology Leadership Forum organized by the consulting firm Innovara and funded by an educational grant from Roche Australia September 13–16, 2004.
Among the 20 Hopkins faculty members participating in the program were Drs. Rudraji Rai, Mack C. Mitchell Jr., Esteban Mezey and David L. Thomas.
The forum, designed to present the multidisciplinary aspects of advanced practice, clinical education and research in hepatology, included both interactive and didactic experiences, a visit to the National Institutes of Health and a tour of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases.
