Irma Purisch is a managing director with Johns Hopkins Medicine International’s Global Collaborations division. Ms. Purisch has more than 20 years of experience in various roles in marketing, strategic planning, international contract negotiation, venture capital investment, financial analysis and human resources.
In her current role she develops proposals and manages education and consulting projects for hospitals outside the United States. She also oversees the day-to-day office management including billing, invoicing and training.
Before joining Hopkins, Ms. Purisch worked in the information technology sector, managing small and medium business marketing planning and execution worldwide for the Hewlett-Packard Company. She has also worked in opening and developing new offices overseas for United Parcel Service, for a small information technology integrator company and for The World Bank Group.
Ms. Purisch holds a master’s in business administration (international marketing) and a bachelor’s of business administration from The George Washington University.
